Mongolia takes the next steps on its way in the eLearning Community in Asia. The Mongolian e-Knowledge NGO will host the eLDI Asia 2010 workshop for participants from all over Asia on April 19-23, 2010 in Ulaanbaatar. Once again MeK shows its leadership in the Mongolian eLearning Development. Twenty-two participants from six different countries will come together for the first Face-to-Face Workshop of the e-Learning Development and Implementation (eLDI) Asia 2010 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from April 19 to 23, 2010. It is the first time that this workshop will be held in Mongolia. Mongolian educators were the part of the InWEnt eLearning network for last five years. The Workshop will be organized by the Mongolian e-Knowledge NGO (MeK) with support of the University of the Philippines Open University and InWEnt Capacity Building International, Germany. The workshop is a starting point for the 8-month blended capacity building training program conducted through the Asian eLearning Network. The course is comprised of two face-to-face sessions and six online modules on Instructional Design, Content Development, Interactivity, eLearning Technology, eLearning Management, and Tutoring for eLearning.
During this five-day workshop, participants will attend the lectures on the basics of online course development, educational technology and get hands-on experience to use online course development platforms and software applications. The participants will start working on their own project on online course development, which they will compile for the next eight months during the course. The eLearning experts of the Mongolia e-Knowledge NGO will coordinate and facilitate the workshop with Prof. Juvy Lizette Gervacio of UPOU. Dr.Günter Podlacha, head of the eLearning division of InWEnt, Germany will come to meet the participants. The participants come from Indonesia, Nepal, Mongolia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. |
